About Pensacola
Since 1977, Troy University has served the Pensacola community by providing educational opportunities and a place of employment for faculty and staff members. Even after Pensacola was devastated by Hurricane Ivan, TROY continued to provide educational opportunities in a compromised status with no physical location and then with an inadequate one. Originally located only on the Naval Air Station, Troy has recently added an off-base location at 21 New Warrington Road. Our state-of-the-art facility represents a major investment by TROY in the Pensacola community – with a large build-out encompassing seven classrooms, office space for current and future employees, student lounges, and a cutting-edge computer lab. The NAS location is also back in business and thriving on the base. Most recently, TROY has revived its presence on Whiting Field, offering classes in the “TROY building” while the education center is renovated.
